This is a USB OTG cable, which, with compatible phones, allows connection of outboard devices such as USB hard drives, keyboards and so on. However, it also talks to cameras! Whilst awaiting my 30D -despatched today, apparently – I tried it with an 1100D, for this shot, and my Galaxy S2 imported the shot without problems.  So, I’m writing this post on my mobile,  and contemplating a laptop-free experience for this project….
